You will be entitled to receive the following benefits beginning on your first day of employment.

  • Medical Insurance - 100% of the cost for employee coverage paid by Authority; 50% for dependent coverage paid by Authority.
  • Dental Insurance - 100% of the cost for employee coverage paid by Authority; 50% for dependent coverage paid by Authority.
  • Vision Care Insurance - 100% of the cost for employee paid by the Authority.
  • Life and AD&D Insurance (two times annual salary with $200,000.00 maximum coverage) - 100% of the cost for employee coverage paid by Authority; additional employee and dependent life insurance may be purchased at the employee’s expense.
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance - 100% of the cost for employee coverage paid by the Authority.
  • After 90 days of employment, VCSFA will contribute to a retirement fund on your behalf every month. You can also choose to add your own contribution.
  • Holidays – 14-16 days; varies per year
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) – 120 hours of paid time off per year, accrued on a per pay period basis; PTO increases with the length of service
